<h2>About this course</h2>In this course, you learn AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT from scratch through project-oriented lessons that teach each tool with its real-world application. You start with the user interface, navigation, coordinate systems, limits and units, and selections, then draw lines with polar coordinates, circles, arcs, ellipses, polygons, polylines, splines, revision clouds, and construction lines. You edit with move, copy, rotate, offset, mirror, scale, trim, extend, stretch, break, join, fillet, and chamfer, and draw accurately with grid, snap, polar, ortho, dynamic input, and object snaps. Drawing tools cover rectangular, polar, and path arrays, divide and measure, grips, align, distance and area inquiries, isometric drawing, centerlines, and regions. You then control object properties, lineweights, viewports, and named views, create hatches and gradients, and manage drawings with layers, layer states, and filters. Dimensioning covers dimension styles and overrides, baseline and ordinate dimensions, tolerances, feature control frames, and multileaders. You also work with text styles, multiline text, tables with fields and formulas, and Excel import and export. Blocks, groups, and attributes follow, including attribute extraction, along with xrefs, PDF and image attachments, and eTransmit. Finally, you set up layouts, viewports, and title blocks, plot at the proper scale, and use DesignCenter, tool palettes, Quick Select, and Express Tools.
