<h2>About this course</h2>In this course, you learn AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT 2022 from scratch through project-oriented lessons that teach each tool with its real-world application. You start with the user interface, navigation and selection, units and templates, and drawing settings. You then draw lines, circles, and arcs in imperial and metric units, use ortho and polar modes, simple and advanced object snaps, and object snap tracking, and create polylines, splines, and ellipses. Modify tools follow: move, copy, rotate, scale, explode, join, trim, extend, offset, mirror, fillet, and chamfer. Drawing tools cover grips, coordinates, dynamic input, rectangles, polygons, isometric drawings, hatches and gradients, and rectangular, polar, and path arrays. To reuse content, you create and insert blocks, use the Blocks palette and local and online block libraries, and build blocks with attributes. You attach and manage xrefs, work with underlays and PDFs, and transmit references. You organize objects with color, linetype, lineweight, transparency, layers, and the Layer States Manager, and use inquiry, purge, and rename tools. The annotation section is the largest, covering text, dimensions, dimension styles, tolerances, multileaders, and tables with Excel import and export. Finally, you set up pages, plot, use viewports, publish, and add annotative dimensions, text, and hatches.
