<h2>About this course</h2>In this course, you learn AutoCAD from scratch, starting with 2D drafting and finishing with 3D modeling and rendering. You begin with the user interface, lines, navigation, and selection sets, then draw with precision using polar tracking, ortho mode, and dynamic input. Next, you create polylines, circles, arcs, and rectangles and edit them with move, copy, rotate, mirror, fillet, trim, and offset, using object snaps to stay accurate, before completing a 2D practice drawing. You then add dimensions, organize drawings with layers, reuse content with blocks, and print and plot your work. The 3D half begins with the 3D interface and navigation, solid primitives, and the extrude, presspull, revolve, sweep, and loft tools. Advanced 3D features follow, including the user coordinate system and dynamic UCS, shell, section planes, 3D fillet and chamfer, Boolean tools, and 3D arrays. The final and largest section covers surfaces and presentation: planar, network, loft, patch, fillet, offset, and blend surfaces, sculpt and thicken, object colors, materials, cameras, rendering with environment presets, and custom lights. Each section ends with a quiz, and lessons use practical examples and real-world cases.
