<h2>About this course</h2>In this course, you start with the Inventor interface, navigation tools, application options, UI customization, file types, templates, and iProperties. You then set up a project and learn sketch basics: selection sets, circles, arcs, and rectangles, sketch constraints, dimensions, and parameters.Modifying sketches covers sketch fillets and chamfers, move, copy, and rotate, text and projected geometry, points, trim, extend, and split, scale and stretch, offset and mirror, and rectangular and circular patterns. In basic part modelling, you build a part through a series of extrudes, then add revolve, fillet, chamfer, and hole features.Reference geometry introduces work features, project geometry, iProperties, material, and appearance. You then create 3D patterns, sweeps, lofts, and shells, followed by solid body features such as emboss, decal, rib, coil, thread, draft, and thicken and offset. The advanced section covers the direct edit tool, library parts, equations, configurations, and model states.Most sections include a practice exercise, and each topic section ends with a quiz. The course ends with two self-assessment projects, modelling a flange and an F and D head on your own.
