<h2>About this course</h2>In this course, you start with the CATIA interface, opening files, navigation, views, and display tools. You then work extensively in the Sketcher workbench, starting sketches on datum planes and using profile, rectangle, circle, spline, ellipse, line, and point tools, along with corner chamfers, auto-constraints, relimitation, and basic and advanced transformations.Next, you apply constraint types, work through practice sketches, and create your first 3D features with Pad, depth options, directional pad, and Pocket, while learning to resolve sketch issues and project and intersect 3D elements, ending with part modeling practice. Shaft, multi pad, and groove tools follow, along with applying materials and physical properties.Using reference elements such as planes normal to curves and planes through three points, you build drafted filleted pads and pockets. Dress-up features come next: holes, rectangular patterns, edge fillets and advanced fillet types, chamfers, draft angles with reflect lines and variable angles, shells, and thread and tap, reinforced with exercises.You also edit features by copying, deactivating, reordering, defining the work object, measuring, inserting bodies, and running Boolean operations. The final section covers user and circular patterns, mirror, scale, affinity, stiffeners, solid combine, rib and slot, and multi-section solids with guides and couplings, including removed multi-section solids.
