You explore the interface, the Toolspace, and the Prospector tab, then work with settings, styles, and object and label styles so your drawings display information the way you need.The largest section focuses on managing projects. You learn project management in Civil 3D, set up a project folder, and create the project itself. From there, you create tangents, create profiles, and build intersections, adjusting intersection settings to suit your design. You also insert curb and gutter elements and create offset alignments, building up the design step by step.Finally, you move into sheets, subsets, and views. You learn the plotting process, create viewframes and plan sheets, add station labels, and rename subsets. You then create sample lines, generate section views, and produce section sheets, turning your design into drawings ready to plot and share.
