<h3>About this course</h3>In this course, you draw a complete 2D house plan in AutoCAD from a blank template with proper units, learning by practicing on a single real-life project. You start with the floor plan, drawing the outer and inner walls, then adding doors, windows, and other blocks. You set wall thickness, add text, and place dimensions and other annotations, before printing the finished drawing. Next, you develop elevations from the plan, starting and finishing both the front elevation and the east elevation. You then create a section view, beginning with the front section, adding details, and finishing it so the interior construction reads clearly. The stair plan comes next: you draw the top view of the staircase, make its front sectional view, add details, and complete it with dimensions and finishing touches. Finally, you start the foundation plan and add the detail needed to finish it. Each section ends with a quiz so you can confirm your understanding before moving on. Because every drawing is derived from the same house, you see how plans, elevations, sections, and details relate to one another in a real drawing set.
