<h2>About this course</h2>In this course, you start by downloading Primavera P6 Professional from Oracle, installing it with its Oracle database configuration, and learning the interface, user and admin preferences, admin categories, and the detail area tabs for projects and activities.You then set up a new project: resources and roles, codes, calendars, enterprise options, the financial period calendar, project details, materials, and equipment. Building the schedule comes next, as you create a WBS and activities, move activity data between P6 and Excel, add start and finish milestones with a WBS summary, and apply relationship types between activities before finalizing the schedule.In scheduling, you run the Check Schedule report, customize bars, create level of effort activities, assign resources and materials, understand how units are calculated, level resources, and baseline the project. You then record progress, compare scheduling options and their effect on the schedule, and work with risks, issues, and performance metrics.Reporting covers exporting to MS Project and Excel, printing custom layouts, exporting schedules and Gantt charts to PDF, modifying reports, and working with notebooks, work packages, documents, and S-curve data. The course closes with reporting percent complete and using filters and global change.
