About this course.
This course is made with a completely project-based approach where several real-world assemblies like a filing cabinet, scissor jack and gear assemblies are used to explain all the features of the assembly environment.
The course starts with the basic topics of assembly and smaller assembly files and gradually you will learn to make complex assemblies and subassemblies with several components.
You will also learn to explode and animate the assemblies.
By the end of this course, you will have a pretty good understanding of basic, mechanical and advanced assembly tools and you will be able to use these tools in your own Solidworks assemblies.
Who should take this course.
This course is recommended for users who have already finished the Solidworks beginners course and have a basic knowledge of the Solidworks part environment.
Pre-requisites.
Solidworks software full or student version and little knowledge of windows operating system.

Connecting rod assembly
In this project you will learn the step by step method of assembling a functional scissor jack in Solidworks.
File cabinet assembly
In this project you will learn to assemble all the components of a drawer cabinet with smaller subassemblies.
